We are committed to protecting your privacy. We only collect a limited set of information that helps us operate core App features. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

• Device location (when permission is granted) — used to calculate prayer times and determine Qibla direction for your position.
• Device compass and motion data — used to animate the Qibla compass and indicate the direction of the Kaaba.
• Push notification permission and scheduling data — used to deliver prayer time alerts at times you configure within the App.
• App preferences and settings stored locally on your device — such as your chosen madhhab and notification lead time.

3. Location Access

The App requests access to your device's location while the App is in use (foreground location). This data is used exclusively on-device to calculate prayer times using the Adhan calculation library and to compute the Qibla bearing toward Makkah. Your location coordinates are never transmitted to our servers or shared with third parties. If you deny location permission, the App falls back to Bangkok coordinates as a default.

4. Compass and Motion Access

The App accesses your device's compass heading (via the device motion sensor) when you open the Qibla compass feature. This data is processed entirely on-device to display the real-time direction toward the Kaaba. No compass or motion data is stored or transmitted.

5. Notifications

The App requests notification permission to deliver scheduled prayer-time alerts (Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha). Notifications are scheduled locally on your device using Expo Notifications. You can enable or disable individual prayer notifications at any time within the App's settings, or revoke notification permission entirely via your device's system settings.

6. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to:

• Display accurate prayer times calculated for your current location.
• Animate the Qibla compass to indicate the direction of the Kaaba.
• Schedule and deliver local prayer-time notifications as configured by you.
• Store your personal preferences (madhhab, notification lead time) on your device for a consistent experience.
• Provide customer support and respond to user inquiries.

7. Third-Party Services We Use

The App operates primarily on-device and does not integrate third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. The only external data source is the Quran audio and text content bundled with or fetched for the App (Quran verse data and audio timings from public Quran APIs). No personal data is transmitted as part of these requests.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect collected information, including encryption in transit where applicable and limited access to data on a need-to-know basis. All sensitive data such as location coordinates is processed on-device and not stored on external servers.

9. Your Rights and Data Control

You have the right to:

• Revoke location permission at any time via your device's system settings — the App will fall back to default coordinates.
• Revoke notification permission at any time via your device's system settings — all scheduled prayer alerts will be cancelled.
• Disable individual prayer notifications from within the App's Settings screen.
• Request deletion of any data associated with your use of the App by contacting us.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

App preferences and notification schedules are stored locally on your device and can be cleared by uninstalling the App. We retain no user data on external servers. For any deletion requests, please contact us.

11. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it.

12. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, providing notice within the App.
